Our Mission at Jump For Joy

At Jump For Joy Preschool, we strive to instill the joy of learning through God’s love. We help your child build self-esteem and positive feelings about school. We also challenge each child to develop an awareness of the needs of others around them while learning to serve others and reach out to those in need in our community.

What Makes Jump for Joy Special

Jump for Joy Preschool is a warm, loving environment designed to encourage learning. The unique low teacher to student ratio allows for a comfort level for each child to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Each classroom has a lead teacher and an aide. We respect each child’s individuality.

JFJ displays patience, kindness, gentleness, respect, and self-control to enhance our program and make it a place where children feel safe. We provide developmentally appropriate opportunities through hands on experience, allowing children to gain confidence, become independent, and build self-esteem.

We are a state licensed preschool with a 5 STAR rating. We want your child to have the best preschool experience possible!

Art, language, science, music, early math and reading readiness will strengthen and prepare your child for kindergarten. Registration

Jump for Joy Preschool Registration begins for our current families, each year on the second Friday in January. Registration opens to the public each year on February 1st. Registrations at this time are processed in the order they are received, until all classes are filled.

Classes Offered at Jump for Joy

Fall 3’s class: Child must be 3 between August 2 and November 30th, of the incoming school year. (MWF, T/Th, or Everyday)

3 yr old class: Child must be 3 by August 1, of the incoming school year and potty trained. (MWF, T/Th, or Everyday)

Fall 4’s : Child must be 4 between August 2 and November 30th, of the incoming school year and potty trained. (MWF, T/Th, or Everyday)

Pre – K class: Child must be 4 by August 1, of the incoming school year and potty trained. (MWF, T/Th, or Everyday)

Jump for Jesus

We hope your K - 5 kids can join us!

Welcome to JFJ (JUMP FOR JESUS)For children of preschool age to 5th grade through Jump for Joy Preschool and Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church.

A Bible adventure program for children of Preschool age through 5th grade.

JFJ’S vision is to cultivate a child’s connection with God , so as they grow, their lives will be transformed by His love and His word, giving them the ability to boldly share God’s goodness with others.

Just as we provide our children physical nourishment through food and water, it is also our responsibility to provide them with spiritual nourishment through God’s love and word. They need us to lead them, protect them and help them know Jesus. We would like to be your partner in fostering your child’s spiritual journey.

Join us on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m. We will have a Bible lesson, Worship Music, Activities and games , service projects and prayer time. Our nursery is also open for children up to 2.

We will have family friendly events planned throughout the year to include, movie nights, Vacation Bible School, singing for the Congregation on scheduled Sundays, Trunk or Treat, Christmas play/musical, Easter egg hunts and more. During the school year, the Jump for Joy children will enjoy Bible Time to start their week off along with other special activities throughout the school year.

At Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church, we offer Sunday School classes at 9:30 am and

Church at 10:45 am. Youth Group and College/Young Adult groups are available.

There is also Wednesday night Bible Study for Adults led by Pastor Shane. We are so hopeful that we can be a light for your child and for whatever your family’s needs may be.
